At the Global Professional Accountants Convention on November 24th, 2023, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India presented a remarkable opportunity for CAs.
It was the grand revelation of the impressive new "CA" Logo. The new CA logo bleeds Indian ethos and adheres to the ICAI's three core values:
- Excellence
- Independence
- Integrity
The new logo is a statement of the accounting profession's dedication to nation-building.
GloPAC is more than just a gathering of accounting professionals; it's a global summit where economic experts, scholars, policymakers, and industry leaders come together to shape the future of the global economy and regulatory framework. This backdrop made it the ideal stage for ICAI to introduce its new logo, signifying a pivotal moment for accountancy in India.
ICAI president, CA Aniket Sunil Talati, and ICAI vice president, CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, were there to fuel the event with their presence.

The new CA logo captures the current beliefs, attitudes, and values of the accounting profession.
It is modern, colorful, and dynamic. The logo consists of the letters "CA" with two upside-down tick marks, which previously were just one.
The typeface "CA" has a blue color, which is believed to be a corporate color. Blue represents creativity, innovativeness, knowledge, integrity, trust, stability, and depth. The upside-down tick mark, commonly used by accountants & chartered accountants, symbolizes the practice and value of the profession. The orange and green colors in the tick mark represent Indian values and excellence in accountancy.
In 2022, ICAI staged the 21st World Congress of Accountants, which led the GloPAC stage.
GloPAC isn't just about the multinational professionals gathering; it's a global summit of economic gurus, scholars, policymakers, and industry bigwigs. It is for the advancement of the global economy and regulatory landscape.
And, amid all this accounting & financial enthusiasm, the new CA logo arises as a fresh era of passion and purpose in chartered accountancy.
